Our Service

Comprehensive Background

The Blue Ribbon Association’s employees are a diverse group that offers comprehensive services. Many of our representatives are former international students so they can better understand and work with current students. Our unique background gives us a better connection to our students and their parents.

Consistent Outcomes

The Blue Ribbon Association of International Education continues to experience positive growth because we are consistent in delivering results that benefit both our partner schools and international students. We strive for nothing less than total satisfaction from our services.

What We Do

International students attend high school in the United States for either an entire school year or calendar year. Our team leads parents and students through a detailed placement process that will match each student with their most ideal and desired institution. We work with the families through every step of the application process and help complete all required documentation and paperwork. During the study abroad experience, each student stays in the home of an American host family.

Preparing for College

The Blue Ribbon Association supports the decision made by students to continue on to higher education. We take great pride in assisting high schoolers in receiving their diploma, but we take even greater pride in helping them prepare for college. The university application process can be drawn out and confusing for international students in the United States, therefore the Blue Ribbon Association remains by their side. We assist the family in completing all required documentation and even help prepare the student with examinations. Our familiarity with the American university system should comfort the student and their family. Offering college preparatory services is important to the Blue Ribbon Association because we believe that our students’ collegiate careers will exceed the accomplishments from high school.

ESL Courses

International students who are interested in traveling to the United States should possess a basic understanding of the English language, and it is important for students to reach a minimum language requirement for the school they wish to attend. Students will more easily adjust to the American culture if they already know how to read, write and speak English which is why the Blue Ribbon Association offers ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for international students to enroll in upon arrival in the United States. We team up with certified instructors to administer the course for students.

Exchange Program

The Blue Ribbon Association offers a short-term summer exchange program, which typically lasts from 1-to-3 months. Students will travel to the United States and become more-fully immersed in the culture, not only observing life in America but also having the opportunity to live as an American does. Having all of the same benefits of the year-long exchange, summer exchange is only a shorter length in time. After the completion of the program each student has the option to re-apply for another semester, if he or she wishes to stay in the United States for longer.

The Blue Ribbon Association also holds a summer camp for students who wish to travel within the United States. Students will be lead through different regions of the country to visit new cities and be exposed to American culture. The Blue Ribbon Association will assist in the handling of travel documents, visas, housing, and all important details. This is a tremendous opportunity for international high school students looking for adventure, to meet new people, discover new customs, and change their perspective of the world.
