The Blue Ribbon Association provides complete and comprehensive services to our students, so instead of worrying about all the details of travel and living in the United States each student can focus on enjoying the cultural experience of being in America.
The Blue Ribbon Association can be contacted by students or their parents at any time (24/7). We believe that the transparency of our work allows for a better-quality service, which is the key to a successful education abroad.
As soon as we receive all the student’s information, our team begins by building an academic profile that will allow the student to find the dream school. By collecting all of the appropriate information we can match students with institutions of their liking.
For us to find the proper school for students, each new applicant must participate in a personal interview and complete an official English evaluation test (such as TOEFL, TOEFL Junior, ITEP Slate, and SLEP).
Blue Ribbon encourages all students to complete a detailed survey so our staff can understand the full expectations of each student and their parents in determining the ideal academic institution for them to attend.
The Blue Ribbon Association presents to the students our school recommendations and from there he/she will officially select the institution they will attend. Our staff prepares all required documents and will work with the student to complete the entire application.
Once the student has been accepted into their desired institution, the Blue Ribbon Association assists them in applying for a United States VISA. Our team helps the student complete all the required VISA documentation, and we even include interview preparation.
The Blue Ribbon Association offers a week long orientation for all new students who arrive in the United States. This program will help international students adjust and prepare for the change that comes with being in a new country and culture.
The Blue Ribbon Association provides coverage for health and accidental insurance of up to $500,000. This serves as a safety net to protect each international student should any incident happen during their time studying abroad in the United States.
The student has completed the application processes, interview, orientations, and documentation. It is now time for the he or she to get settled in and make themselves at home, with their host family, their new high school, and enjoy their life abroad in the United States.
As students begin their academic careers in the United States, we want to reassure the parents of their child’s educational progress. The Blue Ribbon Association employs dedicated personnel that are in constant communication with schools in order to receive updates on student academic success. We create and deliver monthly reports to parents so they can closely monitor their child’s achievements in school.
English training programs are offered at our partner schools. The teachers involved are all ESL-certified and are there to help students who may need intensive English training for their time of studying abroad in the United States.
The Blue Ribbon Association is proud to partner with local and online tutoring organizations which provide students with one-on-one, in person, or Skype™ tutoring sessions for students who need extra help and classes.
We provide students with college consultation: beginning with school recommendations, gathering the appropriate and required materials, and assisting students with the actual college application process. Blue Ribbon offers guidance to graduating high school students in any way possible as they continue their educational journey.
